Hand-painted cards (each one is an original)

These mini studies are more like Karen’s painted sketches.  She does not like to waste anything; from leftover paint from classes or her own work, to found objects, or playing with tools.  Her hand-painted cards are experiments in creativity that often give way to larger paintings.

Most of these cards are not considered archival as they are created from various types of papers or cloth.
